Acceptable Use Policy

KaydPOS Version 1.0 Effective 2026-07-18 Last updated 2026-07-18 Operating from Somalia

Rules for using KaydPOS responsibly and lawfully. This policy applies to every business, staff account and integration using the platform.

1. Prohibited activity

You may not use KaydPOS to engage in, facilitate, or record:

  • Illegal activity of any kind
  • Fraud, including issuing false or fraudulent invoices or receipts
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Processing payments using stolen or unauthorised payment information
  • Distributing malware or other harmful code
  • Unauthorised access to any account, business, or system

2. System and account abuse

  • Sharing login credentials outside your business's own authorised staff
  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages through the platform's messaging features
  • Harassment of other users, KaydPOS staff, or third parties
  • Infringing another party's intellectual property rights
  • Reselling or sublicensing access to KaydPOS without KaydPOS's written authorisation
  • Attempting to circumvent subscription plan limits
  • Attempting to access, interfere with, or disrupt another business's data or use of the platform
  • Abusing product import tools, APIs, or messaging integrations — for example, uploading deliberately malformed files to probe for weaknesses, or sending excessive automated requests that degrade the service for others

3. Security testing

Security research is welcome, but only through the coordinated process described on the Security page. Testing against the live production system without prior authorisation, or testing that could affect other customers' data or service availability, is not permitted.

4. Content and data you upload

You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data and content your business uploads into KaydPOS, and must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to others.

5. Investigation and enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, we may investigate, request information, and — where necessary to protect the platform, other customers, or comply with the law — suspend or terminate the account involved. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to respond before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm (for example, an active security threat).
